That’s the scariest thing about this virus. Any normal symptom could be a symptom of this.

Slight headache=corona
Red eyes=corona
Loss of appetite=corona
Runny nose=corona
No sense of taste nor smell=corona
Sore throat=corona

Most of those alone or symptoms of bad allergies. That’s the reasons it’s spreading so rapidly.

So now my ltr came over and I checked her temperature. Came up to be 102.8......she was in the sun for a hour and I used an external thermometer so I’m hoping that’s it.

Besides that she’s pretty much been in the house never getting out or the occasional trip to get groceries.

The only good news coming out of this is that vitamin C megadose is becoming more well-known:

Quote:New York hospitals are treating coronavirus patients with high dosages of VITAMIN C after promising results from China

[Image: 26366990-8149191-image-a-14_1585095496632.jpg]

Quote:New York hospitals are treating coronavirus patients with high dosages of VITAMIN C after promising results from China
Dr Andrew Weber says he has been immediately giving his intensive-care patients 1,500 milligrams of intravenous vitamin C
The Long Island-based pulmonologist and critical-care specialist with Northwell Health says patients are given three to four doses a day
The regimen is based on experimental treatments that were done in China
Jason Molinet, a spokesman for Northwell, says Vitamin C is being 'widely used' as a coronavirus treatment throughout the health system
A clinical trial into the effectiveness of intravenous vitamin C patients with coronavirus was conducted on February 14 at Zhongnan Hospital in Wuhan

But it's the Western mainstream, so they covered up the dose by speaking of 1500mg - though the guy gives that dose 4-6 times a day which adds up to 6000mg or 100000mg. (it's huge when intravenous and enough for many to cure pneumonia)

Seriously - it seems as if they are really treating it like a devil and holy water. "We'll try bloodletggin and quicksilver before we attempt giving them megadoses of a cheap vitamin."

Obvoiusly it's the ideal choice because it does not target a specific virus or bacteria - it just raises overall bodily immune system and thus works against any virus. The stronger pathogen just takes more dosage and that's about it.

At least this one pulmologist in NYC is doing something right. Not that it will take .... the mafia will do their utmost to suppress it once this is over.

Better experiment with some wonder-drug that has a legion of side-effects.

RE: "I Have Coronavirus/Cold/Flu Symptoms" thread
My girlfriend, who I live with, has tested positive. Which means I likely have it.

Her symptoms:
- No sense of smell whatsoever. Can not smell a freshly baked batch of brownies right under her nose.
- A little bit stuffed up
- Yesterday she woke up nauseous and threw up. We got her a test after that since we were already concerned about the lack of smell. This nausea came and went quickly and has not come back.
- mild fatigue
- No other symptoms at all.

I am completely asymptomatic right now and feel great. I've been taking 5k-10kmg of Vitamin C daily for a couple of weeks now, and plan on ramping this up if I start getting any symptoms.

At this point it seems impossible for me to not catch this bug. I'm hoping that I already have it and will continue to remain asymptomatic. I'm 31 and reasonably healthy. I generally eat well, lift heavy 4x a week (been doing this for ~10 years), and rarely get sick. I probably have about 20lbs of fat that I could stand to lose, but that is my only negative "condition".

I'll be quarantining for the next 2 weeks and hoping for the best!

I'd extend the quarantine longer than 2 weeks just to be sure. Make sure you get plenty of zinc (50mg per day) and Vitamin D3 (10,000 IU) per day. Make sure your girl is getting likewise.

not so much a loss of appetite but just feeling a bit nauseous when I tried to eat a 7 oz steak and half a baked potato yesterday and just don't have an incredible appetite at the moment. No fever yet either but it is in the middle of normal temp and fever temp.

This only day 2 I will keep monitoring my symptoms. I have been careful to always wear a mask and hand sanitize whenever i have to go out. I believe my mother was sick in the last week, though she kept claiming it to be allergies, she is on the mend, its possible I just have what she had as I let my guard down too early around her, entering the house without a mask and sanitizing often.

If not its possible I caught something from the one time I ordered food to go on Thursday/friday I think.

I saw that 90% of those tested end up testing negative, so a lot of people are understandably getting freaked out concerned by these common and mild symptoms.

First I have seen this on here, and it reminded me of a conversation I had last week.

I was talking with a friend of mine who works in an ER outside of Cleveland and he told me their ENT surgeon was telling them to look for loss of smell as a first symptom. Their Academy has been pushing the CDC for several weeks to add this as a first sign. Apparently it is related to the swelling on the facial nerves with the inflammation of the virus.

This particular ENT was able to convince their medical director and now it is one of the first questions they ask at the Triage desk and to any incoming squads.

Any data on your end about that?

No additional data that I can find besides anecdotes from articles and twitter where individuals are relaying their symptoms. This guy lost his sense of smell for a day also. https://twitter.com/yaletung

I would be careful with heavy lifting over the next couple weeks. While this can give you benefits long term going for PRs when you body is potentially fighting off an infection can be disastrous. I've often see healthy guys get crushed by a flu with poor timing right as infection begins. If your body is fighting something off you're going to want to be expending much less energy physically(both calorie consumption and workouts). Might be a good time to do lighter mobility work, yoga..etc.

I would second this, now is not the time to push it too hard. I've gotten hit hard with a bug right after a hard workout, and it was rough.

Just an update. I have not yet developed a cough or difficulty of breathing, and I just checked in the mirror and noticed my sore throat appears to be a gigantic mass of sores on my tonsils. My gums are also inflamed and have some canker sores around the teeth, painful to the point I do not want to brush or floss.

I will goto the clinic tomorrow and request a test for strep, which if positive I can get antibiotics and hopefully start a course of recovery. None the less whatever it is. my body is such a piece of shit and so easily infected, I don't ever remember being this sick before. Each day feels like a daze and a constant fight between battling fever and then chills, and I find myself just praying I make it through.

Don't put off going to the doctor: none of this is Covid symptoms. Whilst you could have strep, that usually gives you a fever over 101F. You could also have Tonsilitis. Are the lymph nodes in your neck swollen? Get checked out, and let us know.

Canker sores can be a sign of a more serious inflammatory sickness, but haven't been brought up at all in any of the data I've seen on covid. They do often arise with increased stress and the stomach ulcer bug... heliobacter something... So it could just be a reaction to the cultural hysteria.

Good luck, mate.
