RE: Health treatments and prevention for Coronavirus
Alright -- to combat this, I've started supplementing with

10,000 mg vitamin C/day
50 mg zinc/day
keto

Anything I should consider adding? I'm looking for ever possible edge here, as I'm on immunosupressive medication.

Thanks, fellas!

You need to talk to a doctor asap about that immunosuppresive medication. Is it for something like organ transplant or something that sucks but liveable like psoriasis?

Organ transplant. I have no choice.

And I work in healthcare...

(I rarely get sick, if that matters. I had a weird sore throat/cold/constant cough/shortness of breath after visiting one of the coasts on business back in late January/early February). I wonder if I already had it...)

Another option is to use a neti pot with sea salt or a saline solution. It keeps the nasal mucus moist.

Funny how many of us had something odd back in that late Jan / early Feb window.

How'd you go today Nomad? Any improvement?

I wonder if the Vitamin megadosing would be safe for someone suffering from diverticulum?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diverticulum

I'm worried the acidity might aggravate that problem?

< I guess gastrointestinal one?

I know of no such issue. Usually when you have issues with the l-ascorbic acid version, then you simply shift to the buffered sodium ascorbate one and there you can even streamline the vitc to soda ratio (can be as high as 8:1 or 2:1).

Generellay orthomolecular MDs report on potential dangers - iron, melatonin, too much zinc/magnesium imbalance, B3 and heart issues etc. They have no vested interest in recommending too high a dosage if they know that some patients do badly with it. I wouldn't worry about it, see how the reaction is and go from there.

Are you taking 10,000 IU of Vitamin D3 as well? I'm doing everything you're doing plus 10,000 IU of D3, as that's the upper safe limit I've read. D3 is very important to your immune system.

RE: Health treatments and prevention for Coronavirus
There is one solid prevention to avoid getting sick in general(besides washing your hands after going to the bathroom and before eating.)

Get a solid 7-8 hours of sleep every night. Get regular exercise(half hour, 2 or 3 times a week minimum.)

And keep your food areas clean. Beyond that, there isn't going to be any sort of cure for the corona virus, until they actually have a cure)

Excellent info, thanks.

France also said corticosteroids are ill advised. So try avoiding those unless medically necessary.

Its best not to take any drugs that modify the immune system at this point. All the forum guys using testosterone or other bodybuilding drugs should also be advised to stop and use TRT level doses only. (supra physiologic doses may have esp. negative effects on the body during infection) Binge drinking/smoking is also not advisable at this point.

Tylenol aka acetaminophen aka paracetamol is the best drug for treating high fever due to coronavirus.

Also Roosh how much Vitamin C did you take on each of the days?

I'm a little worried cause I wasn't able to get a hold of a very large quantity... only ~1 lb. On Simeon's thread 100-200g per day are recommended. Still trying to get more.

I think 200 grams is a bit extreme, but hey...do what you think is best.

A tip: order directly from the company if you can, instead of from Amazon. I placed an order yesterday directly from NOW Foods for my mom. It was already shipped out today by FedEx (which is apparently their normal shipping method). By contrast, a second order that I placed on Amazon for myself will take 10-15 days to arrive.

Yes, these supplement companies are running out of some things, but the things that they do have in inventory will arrive much quicker than through Amazon. You can also buy stuff on ebay for immediate shipping -- at double or triple the retail price.

I've gone a day without taking it and have noticed the feeling has completely dissipated, is this something you've heard of?

I will be trying the buffered method today instead to see if it will bypass this feeling.

Are you megadosing Zinc also ?
Taking more zinc (100mg picolinate per day) and megadosing liposomal C are the 2 latest changes I made to my regime, and I also feel this chest thightness.

I wasn't taking Zinc at the time, the only other thing that I had introduced at the time was a Diffuser Necklace (my masseuse recommended it - to use Tea Tree Oil with it for it's 'Anti-Viral' properties)

I took a few days out and reintroduced the Vitamin C yesterday and bam, chest felt heavy again. I think there must be a sensitivity for some individuals as my mother is taking 2-3G daily and is experiencing no issues.

Are you still experiencing the same feeling?

I've bought some, as I suffer from asthma. Hopefully will notice a positive difference.

Would be interested to see if you notice any benefits after a while brother, keep well.

I followed the Shanghai Plan recommendations.

For the record, my first 6 hours was a megadose. 1g every hour for six hours. I did get some bowel cramps from that one.

Then I've been on three doses a day ever since (between 1 and 2 grams per dose). In a case of severe symptoms that would perhaps escalate to 5g per dose for a maximum of 15g per day, based upon my bodyweight (220lbs), less for smaller people.

200 grams is ridiculous, based on stomach acid and bowel action. You'd stand a greater risk of dying quickly of dehydration from diarrhea than anything viral. You've most likely misread 20,000 mgs as 200g, not 20g.

I meant to write about this earlier. Yes, Tea Tree Oil is one of nature's best anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-viral remedies. Yet, few people know all the ways that you can use it. I purchased two two-ounce bottles yesterday. I keep one in my car and will use it in lieu of disinfectant wipes. Just apply a few drops and rub your hands thoroughly, like you were washing your hands.

Quote:Antiviral

Tea tree oil has antiviral properties that have proven to be effective against common pathogens. A 2001 study found that a combination of tea tree oil and eucalyptus oil worked effectively against the herpes simplex virus.

A 2013 studyTrusted Source found that tea tree oil could prevent the spread of influenza.

Here's a short preview video of exercises to prevent bacteria from gathering in your lungs.

I'm pressed for time today, so if anyone can find a more comprehensive video for pneumonia exercises, post it here, because I think they couldn't hurt, unless you have a known heart or brain condition where coughing could be dangerous.

So, imagine you're older:

"I'm feverish" - takes neurofen
"I'm coughing" - takes a cough suppressant like benadryl
"I'm sick" - lies prone in bed and doesn't move around

This is how they'd all get the secondary infection of pneumonia - always labelled that way in the Wuhan data - that puts them to ICU and threatens to kill them.

RE: Health treatments and prevention for Coronavirus
I got a tip off from some medical profession family about an Interesting story from WND: https://www.wnd.com/2020/03/coronavirus-...-covid-19/

TLDR is that there's two drugs that have been tested and seem to have cured the disease.

The active ingredient is Quinine: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quinine

From the ingredients for tonic water:

[Image: USA-Classics_-_tonic_-_nf_9db14ca6-eef6-...0331038971]

The ingredient can be found in trace doses there. The media is claiming that this is "fake news".

I call bullshit because the actual interview can be found here: https://10daily.com.au/news/australia/a2...e-20200316

Here is the LinkedIN profile of the professor: https://www.linkedin.com/in/david-paters...bdomain=au

And his bio on the uni website: https://researchers.uq.edu.au/researcher/1829

Supplements are also currently available online easily and currently in stock.

Edit: note there’s some nasty side effects associated with this stuff. Don’t take it unless you’re sure you’ve got it.

RE: Health treatments and prevention for Coronavirus
If Chloroquine works fine against the coronavirus, why aren't, in particular, French hospitals and medics using it, massively. I mean, considering that French medics have been using nivaquine and chloroquine for decades, prescribing it generously at some point to all French travellers bound for Africa... Is it because Chloroquine is reportedly dangerous for people over 60, and gives terrible itching to about 70% of Black people?

By the way, if an efficient medicine (against the coronavirus) is found, one that works more or less well depending on ethnicities, you better believe said medicine will remain a secret. The global Establishment wants to find a cure for the coronavirus, but a cure that would work just the same on all ethnicities and their respective DNAs. It might even be, for a change, a somehow honourable thing to do, for the Establishment.
